FRANCIS PEAK TRAIL - Farmington Canyon - Wasatch Mountains, Utah

Right behind Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, Utah there is a canyon that has a good road in it that climbs all the way up to the top of the Wasatch Mountains.

The Farmington Canyon / Francis Peak road is particularly beautiful in Autumn when the leaves are turning.

If you look hard enough you will find little gems like this waterfall in the mountains.

Nice pic nic ground halfway up the canyon. The road is washboarded and only one lane in areas. One of the more hair raising roads in Utah but if you go slow and be careful you will be fine.

It is a different world up in the Aspen and Fir than it is down in the valley.
