ARIZONA: Cochise Head - Chiricahua National Monument

"You must speak straight so that your words will go into my heart like sunshine. I will not lie to you. Do not lie to me"

Cochise

Cochise Head is a mountain in Arizona's Chiricahua National Monument. Cochise was a great Apache Chief who was driven to lead a resistance against the U.S. Military due to conflicts that arose from the Bascom Affair. From this vantage point along the "Heart of Rocks" trail, the mountain looks like a profile of the great Chief as he stares up at the sky.
